Larry works with a number of highly-skilled practitioners who have been certified in Identity Mapping®. Each is dedicated to the practice of identity-based living and leadership, while bringing their own experience to the process. Together, they make up The Identity Circle expert network.

Shannon Patterson

 

Shannon Patterson is a member of the The Identity Circle and a certified Identity Mapping practitioner based in Seattle, Washington. Shannon is a consultant, facilitator, and educator in the fields of psychology, business, and identity. She has been working with Larry Ackerman since 2007. Her expertise and passion is helping people and organizations evolve by aligning what they do with who they are – whether in the workplace, marketplace, or classroom. Shannon’s work is grounded in 15 years of experience across the urban planning, education, and personal development fields.

 

As a member of The Identity Circle, Shannon coaches individuals and groups, using Identity Mapping® and the Identity Discovery Deck™.  She also leads The Identity Circle’s certification program for Identity Mapping®.

 

Shannon also partners with Larry on organizational identity consulting engagements affecting brand and leadership strategy. Together they help executive teams discover and articulate the unique contribution their organization is capable of making in the marketplace.

 

In addition to her work with The Identity Circle, Shannon teaches interpersonal effectiveness and business classes at Argosy University in Seattle.

 

Outside of work, you’ll find Shannon baking bagels, torturing herself in spin classes, taking urban hikes, or reading yoga philosophy.

 

Shannon holds a B.A. in Psychology and an M.S. in Transportation Planning from the University of Washington as well as an M.S. in Organization Development from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management.

Anita Bhasin

 

Anita Bhasin is a member of The Identity Circle and a certified Identity Mapping® practitioner.

 

She is a leadership and organization development consultant who has worked with global clients ranging from The Nature Conservancy to Microsoft. She brings over twenty years of internal experience with high tech companies including Wang, The Santa Cruz Operation (SCO) and Microsoft.

 

Anita was born in the UK and has held positions in Sales, Marketing, and HR in the US, Europe, and India, having delivered workshops and strategic planning sessions on three continents. Her passion and work is centered on capacity-optimization for individuals and groups: consulting and coaching, development of global talent management programs, and the design and facilitation of developmental workshops for early-career employees, managers, and high potential leaders and their teams.

 

Anita holds a B.S in Business Studies and Master’s degree in Marketing.  Most recently she attended Pepperdine University’s Master’s Program in Organization Development where she was recognized with the Graziadio Leadership Award.  Anita is also a Senior Action Learning Coach.

Tom Melberg

 

Tom Melberg is a certified Identity Mapping® practitioner and a talent, team, and leadership development consultant with Sage Ways Consulting.

 

Tom’s driven by his passion to empower people to dig deep to discover what’s important to them. He partners with people in finding their path to fulfillment by working with them to step into being who they really are and to lead a more meaningful life.

 

Tom has been involved in technology and business development for over 25 years. He is a results-oriented consultant with diversified experience in the strategic planning, implementation, and operations of a variety of diverse projects, products and services. His ability to help companies across many industries establish a clear picture of their desired state and create a definitive path to realize their goals is a skill that has fueled Tom’s ability to add value to individuals and organizations of all sizes.

 

Joining Sage Ways in 2012 to focus primarily on success planning tools and professional development, Tom was instrumental in implementing a sophisticated online survey process combined with custom reporting for succession planning and talent development at Microsoft.

 

Prior to joining Sage Ways, Tom was the top strategy and marketing advisor for the sporting goods division of a profitable consumer goods company, Bonfit America.

 

In his free time, Tom enjoys spending time playing golf, traveling, and cooking with his wife Maddy.

Susan Gannon

 

Susan Gannon is a certified Identity Mapping® practitioner and an experienced Career and Life Coach, who has guided students and professionals through different phases of their career and work life for over 20 years. She has also completed the Identity Mapping® Program for Coaches.

 

Susan has worked in large organizations, career transition firms, and college career planning offices where she has helped people identify their gifts, translating “who I am” into meaningful career choices in order to discover new paths and creative ways to follow them.

 

In addition to career coaching, Susan has facilitated strategic planning meetings for major companies, ensuring that all divisions had a voice in shaping the corporate vision. She has also designed and delivered numerous individual and group career coaching programs inside of organizations.

 

Susan has worked in academic settings including Wheaton College, Pace University, and Harvard University. She has been an adjunct faculty member at Mercy College, teaching Motivation Theory and Practice.

 

Susan holds a Master of Education from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Denver in Education/Psychology. She also completed a Management Studies Certificate Program at Cornell-Pace University.  Further, Susan is certified in “Managing Organization Transition” by Bill Bridges and in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. Among her publications is “The Mentor Link: Bridging Education and Employment,” written for the Journal of College Placement.
